Blackcurrants - and why you need a big pan!

Today I have made Blackcurrant Jelly, thanks to Julie who kindly gave me the blackcurrants. See how near to boiling over this pan got? I did not take my eye off it for even one second!! But it was successful and I did not end up having to scrub everything as I feared for a wee while.
I will be adding a jar or two of it to the stall we now have in our garden to sell the preserves. Not bad so far - 4 jars sold in as many days. I just hope it stands up to the weather that is forecast over the next few days...
